Nice diving at Saba Offing and Twin Hole on a wavy day

Today started as a windy day with big waves expected coming from the typhoon up north from Okinawa, so knowing that our options were limited today due to weather, we went for 2 very nice dives the best protected from the waves, as a first dive we ventured to Saba Offing, and went for a second dive at Twin Hole.

Okinawa Miyakojima Introductory Diving & Fun Diving — Introductory Diving & Fun Diving

After the harsh trip navigating the waves, we jumped into the water a group of 3 American girls actually living in Kyoto, and one English man actually living in Fukuoka. Under water the conditions were very good, no big current, pretty good visibility and many many fish, at first we saw some pink anemone fish, and after swimming a bit more to the outside part of the first big rock, we stumbled upon a big remora that kept approaching and going away as if it was testing us. On that same area we could see a big bank of goldlined sea bream staying still on a small current, a little bit further we saw some more anemone fish, and we played with a sea cucumber before going back to the boat after a 50 minutes dive.

【Dive2 Twin Hole】

After the first dive, the trip to the second site was fairly easy as we were now following the waves, once at the dive site we headed towards the cave entrance following a very shallow area to realise as the conditions were announcing that the cave was not possible to enter today as the waves kept smashing the entry hole. We kept a little bit and we found an anemone with some clown anemone fish, and a bit further following a ridge on another anemone we could see some pacific clown anemone shrimps. Following the ridge we went deeper and deeper until we found some cavities were we could see a very big Giant Moray hiding on the rocks. Coming back from the depths, we followed a rocky wall stumbling on some nudibranchs and hiding inside a rock a huge Crown of Thornes Starfish before arriving back to the boat after a 48 minutes dive amazing dive.

Today ‘s guest came by honeymoon trip from Canada

In the morning, We went to the 2 boat fun dives and introductory dive in Shimoji island.
He was a PADI certified diver, but she does not have a C card.
So he went to introductory diving with her.

【Dive 1　Hon Drop】

First Dive, We went to Hon Drop in Shimoji Island.
Japanese certified diver is the first entry.
The guest of the introductory diving moved after practicing breathing.
Move along the wall with neutral buoyancy. When we entered the crack, we saw big Giant trevally.
This place is a cleaning station of Giant trevally.
Guest was very excited too much.
We saw Green turtle, Giant trevally, Tomato anemonefish, Clark’s anemonefish, Pyramid butterflyfish, Clown　anemonefish and a lot of fish.

【Dive 2　Devil’s Palace】

Second Dive, We went to Devil’s Palace in Shimoji Island.
Japanese guests went to Devil’s Palace, but guests from Canada enjoyed the snorkeling.
The entrance of the Devil’s Palace was very beautiful.
And main Devil’s Palace was also very beautiful.
We saw Long legged spiny lobster, sweeper, nudi branch, Blotcheye soldierfish, Blue streak fusilier, Yellowfin goatfish and a lot of fish.
The guest waiting on the boat said “We saw Manta ray”.

We went to Irabu Island with guests came from Australia

Today, We went to the 2 boat dives and 1 boat introductory dive in Irabu island.

【Dive 1　Cross Hole】

Guests coming from Australia requested topography diving.
I chose the Cross Hole in the first dive.
The sunlight which enters the hole also in today’s cross hole is very beautiful.
He took a pose under the light and I took a picture.
He was very excited and impressed.

【Dive 2　Snake Hole】

Introductory diving and Certified diving

The second diving he went with the fiancé to introductory diving together.
Of course he is a fan diving. She is diving for the first time.
Explanation of diving skills on board. She practiced breathing.
Everyone descent together.
We saw a big Dusky batfish under the boat.
After a while We saw the Hawksbill turtle.
Everyone was excited and approached the turtle.

After seeing an anemone fish we went to the Hanadai Bommie.
We saw a lot of Peach fairy basslet, Scalefin fairy basslet, Tomato anemonefish, Bluefin trevally, Amethyst anthias, Black stripe sweeper, Red lion fish on the Hanadai Bommie.
Guests were very enjoyed diving.

Yesterday diving to the Shimoji island with guests from Israel

Yesterday, We went to the 3 boat fan diving to the Shimojijima.

【Dive 1　Hon Drop】

First Dive went to Hon Drop because he said he wanted to see big fish.
We saw Green Turtle under the Boat.
At the rifts of the rocks we were able to see Giant trevally.
There was a clown anemonefish along the wall.
The guest was excited about Giant trevally.

【Dive 2　Tori Pond】

Tori pond where request was made at the time of book.
Tori Pond is a famous dive site in Miyakojima.
Under the boat, a lot of Yellow and blueback fusilier, Blue streak fusilier and Double lined fusilier were flocking.
We saw Chemocline on the boundary between freshwater and saltwater.
We went from the sea into the pond and go surface.
At the top of the pond, tourists will wave their hands towards the diver.

【Dive 3　Devil’s Palace】

Devil’s Palace, sunlight entering the hole in the Miyakojima is the most beautiful and popular dive site.
Today the hole was also very beautiful.
Guests are impressed by mysterious and fantastic palaces.
Guests were very excited.

3 Tank Boat Diving to Shimojijima with guests from U.S.A

Today, We went to Shimojijima for 3 boat diving.

Dive1 Nakanoshima Hole
When I showed the dive site map, the guest requested to go to the cave, hole, pond.
In response to the request, First Dive goes to Nakanoshima Hall.
From the entrance of the hall, it got submerged as far as 25 m .

Dive2 Mini Grotto (Mini Tori-Pond)
We entered and went to Mini Grotto.
We go for surface of the Mini Tori-pond. There was not a blue sky…

Miyakojima Diving Mini Grotto — Mini Grotto

After go down and go back we can saw the topograhy of the Mercedes-Benz mark.
The cave is very beautiful and fantastic.
The guest said “Very amazing”.

Dive3 Nakanoshima Channel
I headed for going to Marin Lake, but because there was a wave, I changed to a Nakanoshima Cannel.
We left the arch through Crépas.
