Diving with a Hungarian guest at Irabu island

After yesterday’s typhoon, today started with very light wind, no signs of rain and good temperature, for the first time in a week we headed towards Irabu island with our Hungarian guest, as a first dive we dove double arch to warm up a little bit, and then we went to twin hole where it started to rain as we were diving and until we came back to mainland.

【Dive1 Double Arch】

The dive started quickly and even if our guest last time diving was 5 years ago everything went very easy, we headed towards the deepest part of the dive before going into the crack that leads us to the first arch. There we could enjoy a couple of big angelfish dancing in front of us, and after taking some pictures with the arch we entered the cave. Inside the cave we found a big group of red soldierfish and we took some good pictures playing with the entrance light. Outside the cave we found the second arch, a heartshaped arch, and looking closely we could see a very big lionfish. Finally we went to a shallower area enjoying many of the typical Miyako fish before coming back to the boat on a 50 minute dive, good job!

【Dive2 Twin Hole】

On the second dive we moved straight to the cave called twin hole, where we could watch the inside ceiling and the blue entrance light that gives it it’s second name “blue hole”. There we met our other Japanese guests that were snorkeling, and after heading out we swam to the deepest wall to get back to the boat, we got down to 17/18 meters and found a huge octopus trying to change of colour in a desperate move to hide from us, or maybe frighten us. After taking some pictures we kept going watching the amazing shapes the coral takes at this point and finding a cute family of clown anemone fish. Finally coming back to the boat we enjoyed playing with some bubble rings before finishing our 55 minute dive.

2 Boat introductory diving to Irabu Island with the guests from Singapore (6/Apr)

Today, We went 2 Boat Introductory diving to Irabu Island with the guests from Singapore.

【Dive1 Double Arch】

Boat Introductory Diving

1st dive, we went to Double Arch.
Practice breathing on the surface and descend.
We headed for the arch.
Guest looked up at the heart ‘s arches.
Two people lined up and posed in front of the arch.
I took a picture and saw a lot of fish.
They were enjoying the first time underwater world.

【Dive2 Overhang】

2nd dive, we went to Overhang.
We dived, we saw a lot of Redtoothed triggerfish.
We saw anemone fish and pyramid butterfly fish in overhang.
I also found a rare Nudi Branchi.
When we go back to boat, we saw coral shaped Pig.
It was a very enjoyable diving.

2 boat fun diving to Irabu Island (18/Mar)

Today in the morning, We went to 2 boat fun diving in Irabu Island.
The guest came from Spain.

【Dive 1　L-shaped Arch & Double Arch】

1nd dive we went to the L-shaped Arch & Double Arch.
Headed to the L-shaped arch in the beginning.
We saw White Tip Reef Shark under the arch.
Entered the warp hole through the arch.
We saw Long legged spiny lobster, Semicircle angelfish, A lot of Big-eyed soldierfish in the hole.
Left the hole and went to a double arch.
We went back to the boat looking at the heart shaped arch.
Hawksbill turtle passed when I returned to the boat.

【Dive 2　Cross Hole】

2nd dive went to the Cross Hole.
We headed to the Cross Hole.
The sunlight entering the cross hole was very beautiful and a fantastic world had spread.
Looking up the hole, it seemed to Hokkaido.
Guest enjoyed topography dive.
We got back to the boat, We saw White Tip Reef Sharks and Clark’s anemone fish.

Today, We went to the 3 boat dives in Irabu island.

【Dive 1　Double Arch】

Today’s first dive went to a double arch.
The most famous dive site in the Irabu area.
There are 2 arches, one of which is shaped like a heart mark.
We saw pipe fish, lionfish, anemonefish, green turtle, lots of fish.
One of the Japanese guests and guests from the USA enjoyed snorkeling.

【Dive 2　Snake Hole】

The second dive went to the snake hole.
We saw a fantastic blue in the snake hole.
But today there was no fog in the air dome.
We moved from the Snake Hole to the Hanadai bommie.
We saw a lot of peach fairy basslet, scalefin fairy basslet.

【Dive 3　Wreck Ship】

Today ‘s last dive went to the wreck ship.
It is sinking car ferry that was operated between Miyako Island and Irabu Island.
Wreck ship has become fish reefs.
A friendly longfin batfish comes close to the diver.
We saw Dusky batfish, Red lionfish, Scalefin fairy basslet.
The guests enjoyed wreck diving for the first time.

Today, We did diving went by boat in Irabu Island.
He was the first time Miyakojima diving. But he said “I dived in Ishigakijima last year.”

【Dive1 L-shaped Arch】

He said, “I would like to go to Shimojima”. However, because of the south wind, we went to diving in Irabujima. He was interested in the topography and came to enjoy diving in Miyakojima.
First diving went to the dynamic topography L-shaped Arch. The arch looking up from the depth of 35 m is spectacular. Go through the arch to the warp hole.
We saw Semicircle angelfish, Red lionfish, Moontail bullseye, Black stripe sweeper, Red reef lobster in the hole.

【Dive2 Cross Hole】

Second diving also went to a point of the topography.
At the entrance of the hole we saw a lot of Yellowfin goatfish, Goldlined sea bream, Double lined fusilier.
In the hole Black stripe sweeper is flocking.
Sunlight entering the hole is very beautiful and fantastic world.
Guests also enjoyed the topography while being excited.

【Dive3 Double Arch】

Today, Last diving went to a double arch.
Noble file cram glows red in the cave.
When we left the cave, we saw the heart arch.
We saw Red lionfish, Pype fish, Banded coral shrimp, Clark’s anemonefish and a lot of fish.
He was also interested in a nudi branch.
We found a lot of Nudi Branch.
